Sidenote: Capturing expressions is really hard in this game.

I say this very fondly, because I actually love the little interactions between Andreja and Barrett. They mostly highlight how different Andreja's culture is, making her a bit socially inept in the settled systems. She does get a few nice quips in there too, however ^^

We found this interrogation room in MAST in New Atlantis. One can tell that it's not exactly made to make you feel at ease. Even the Newton's Cradle on the table is anxiety inducing if I imagine the interrogator idly using it during a period of silence.

Pretty heartless if you ask me, to use that poor plushie for target practice.

I've got everyone I love right here, a great (self-built!) ship, and a fantastic outpost on a paradise planet.

Me and Andreja on our way to fetch the Terrormorph data from from the Archives. My sense of foreboding went through the roof as I entered the chamber.

These little sanitation bots are so cute. I love that they even play a nice whimsical tune while they work.

This planet had some really interesting geology, and a conveniently placed mountain from which to survey everything. I think I'll have to buy some more jetpack fuel after this, but it was very much worth it!

Oh, am I ready to run that mile. I watched "The Running Man" again last night, so I'm highly motivated to rampage through that monster zone.

This plushie should be a standard offering for any new Constellation members.

Still images don't do this justice, as the whole mass moves and reflects light off surfaces. Dangerous, though - like many overly pretty things :D

The symmetry here is mesmerizing.

One can tell that this has been lovingly crafted. The details and lighting are exquisite (pardon my overly colorful adjectives).

I can't remember exactly where I found this tree, but I remember that its foliage had very pretty shifting colours.

I managed to capture a lightning bolt over the plain ^^

Sidenote: It don't want to think about how many screenshots I had to take to catch this.

Found in a privy in Dazra. It was eerily beautfiul, the light effects rippling on the floor and walls like light bent through water.

Of course I found this in an Ecliptic base... Mercenaries passing the time. Needless to say, I saved the poor plushie.

This was a geological feature at the bottom of a sinkhole, filled with some weird alien plants. Those would look pretty in my garden, I think. I just hope they are not dangerous like some jellyfish are.

This planet had very crisp lighting, almost like the moon.

It looks idyllic from here, with a small pond surrounded by ancient corals. It was anything but. The area teemed with hostile wildlife, and it's a small miracle they let me take the shot :)

I saw a Starborn ship land in the distance, and when I got there they were fighting with a local pirate gang that had overtaken a small industrial installation. The pirates did not last long.

Seriously, Sam? Granted, you grew up in Akila, but please respect my ship :|

I seem to have specialized in putting Ecliptic mercenaries into the weirdest positions during my fights.

The temples are some of the more photogenic architecture in the game. I think just about everyone who plays the game has taken a shot of the corridor leading to the temple entrance. The metal of the walls has a unique texture that is great to play with under different lighting conditions.

Another ship with an interior decorator gone wild. Luckily we have artificial gravity - all this clutter would be deadly free floating. Especially that statue's lance.

Mars at night - unforbidding but beautiful in its own right.

I am still not entirely sure if this was a game bug, or if martian miners in Cydonia are so badass that they work in their underwear. Going down the stairs to the mining area, there was a whole gang of them in underwear going to work. Some of them were clothed, but most were in this simple attire.

Getting out of the lift into this room was one of the Starfield "wow" moments. Putting the uncanny symmetry aside, I have to congratulate the level designers. It may be a matter of taste, but this is definitely great design.

I visited the moon. Between the obligatory giant leaps, I chanced upon this eminently photogenic crater. It makes me wish to really be there.

P.S. I like pirate spacesuits. They are so pretty!

This was impressive to say the least. Naturally it was just as dangerous as it was pretty.

The décor in this ship (yes, this is the inside of a ship) was pretty wild, but very stylish too. My character was sporting a pirate spacesuit at the time, and I believe it fit the surroundings surprisingly well.

This shot gives me some Jules Verne 2000 miles under the sea vibes.

That little critter drawing there tells you with tiny droppings just what you are supposed to do here ^^

On Akila, the Rangers have a nice little bar with this side room that I have not seen anyone else in (so far?). It's really cosy, and a perfect place to relax between jobs :)
